Madam Yahaslina
There was a test to classify students according to
their English proficiency. I did bad during the test. I had been placed into
the worst class, Delta. Madam Yaya is such a person who has a great charisma.
Neither she yelled nor punished us. She always reminded us not to
‘berfoya-foya’ (play-around) during the lesson. She never had an extreme
prejudice on us. Once, she asked one of us who was day-dreaming,
Literally nobody:
Madam Yaya: " Did you see me without a single
string attached? ".
Yes, it was extremely, unnecessarily inappropriate.
But that was so her. She just taught us with conventional methods. Her cares
towards us was the only thing that matters the most. ‘Alhamdulillah’ (all
praises to Allah), I succeeded in the final examination. I was was able to
enter the Alpha class. My greatest thanks to her for letting me to achieve
something too great even for me, myself to ever imagined. She is a hell of a
teacher. Truly one of a kind.
