ORIENTATION DAY 5
Orientation:Day 5 (14th August 2011).9.00 am- 2.00 pm, there was a field trip: Bus Tour of KT.The local participants help point out key places to town to buy supplies(get them to make list in classroom first)
First,we gathered in front of the hostel .The person in charge were Ms Zuraida,Ms Zureen and Mr Brandon.I Was very excited to have the trip.The driver was late for few minutes.
The first destination we were heading to is Taman Tamadun Islam .Unfortunately,it is closed Ramadan.I had been there before.So itis fine for me.
After that, we went to Masjid Kristal.We entered the mosque to take some pictures.After we exit the mosque,we have a group pictures.From there,I saw the Felda Hotel.
The next destination was the state museum.It is the largest museum in Malaysia.We were not allowed to bring our bags and cameras enter the museum.
The first item I saw is Batu Bersurat Terengganu.It is the original one.There is a screen-touched tv beside the item.I was so impressed with the technology.
Then we were explained briefly about the history of batik in Terengganu.Next,we went to the arts gallery at there.The art immortalise the history of Terengganu.
There is one more galley that I would like to share that is petroleum gallery.There is a proton car at there that usingthe NGV.After that,we went to Pulau Warisan.There are a lot of LED trees.Lastly,we went to a batik centre.We did have a look on how to make a batik.I entered the factory outlet centre.
I just have a look because of my financial problem.Hahaha.Right after that, I entered the Batik Complex.My friend told me that once he saw Tun Dr Mahathir exit the complex with so many bags.We know that it will cost so much money per bags.I saw number of us bought something.Then,we went back to UCSI.
So I think that's the end of my journal for today.
