The Intervention of Book Orchard Will Encourage the Culture of Reading Knowledgeable Books

The presence of this orchard may rise the awareness on the culture of reading. The main target group for this campaign is the teenagers. As we know, the orchard will be agreat news just for the bookworms and the people who are focusing so much into knowledges.

Other than that, it encourages the people who involve in the world of book publications to keep on going with their commitments, to publish a book with high-quality, beneficial and can be a refreshment for the book readers. This is the consequence of knowing that they are still many people in Malaysia who appreciates the power of a book.

Book publishers  need to enhance intellectual and knowledge traditions by encouraging the publication of a book with high quality and writing. They must fix their intention and the attitudes of focussing only on the profits. This is because, this sort of attitudes may stop the efforts on creating a citizen with multiple skills.

The non-government organizations (NGO) and corporate sectors also need to realize on their roles to assist the government to empower an educated society. One of the way is by supporting the financial sources to any organization which are willing to encourage the reading culture by publishing book with high quality.

Every single Malaysians especially, have to portray their total efforts on encouraging others to practice reading as a culture. This is to ensure that reading will be a part of our soul.

The translation in English is – “ To bend a bamboo, while it is still a shoot  “. It means if you want to teach your child, it is better to do it when he is still young.

My four years old brother enjoys looking at the animal pictures in MNS Quarterly Magazine; Naturalist. He will usually ask me the names of the animals. I taught him not just by saying “ It is a snake” but will tell him the type as well which is “ It is a Cat snake “. You will be surprised how kids at his age could actually recognize and memorize it. The next time you show him the picture, without fail he will answer it correctly.

So, nurture your children on reading and knowledgeable materials so that they will be able to practise reading daily.
