Strict disclaimer, I’m strictly not a pedophile. They were two siblings asking for a favour. I went to Cyberjaya, once, with my current housemate, Shahirul (Shah). It was Thursday, we departed before Maghrib and reached there after Isha.We returned home an hour before Fajr.

It was a normal evening, when Vel texted in a whatsapp group to meet in Cyberjaya. Fortunate for me, but not for Shah, he just arrived home from a week of being a football referee for Bentong district’s schools tournament. I just wanted him to accompany me, I was totally fine if he went asleep the entire time of our journey and meet-up. He finally slept in the car around 3 in the morning.

At Baytana, Vel and Nyu asked to whether have a wife who has or hasn’t a job. I believe a wife can be anyone they wanted to be.

Doctor actor lawyer or a singer

That’s not the whole point, the thing is they can even be an astronaut if they really wanted to be one. Be obedient is a must even though the husband has lower income, unemployed or even worse a criminal of some kinds. As long as what is being asked by the husband is not contradicted with the Sharia, it is a compliance for the wife to follow. I told them, I was at 50-50 stance on this. After a deep thought, I think I’m at 50.01-49.99, a slight tendency towards a career woman. Based on lavish expenditure, it’s better for my future wife to have her own money. Of course, I will still provide her alimony as it is compulsory.

They also asked me about decision making in a household. I also said that I stand on 50-50 about this. I’m neither at the leftest nor rightest hemisphere end. It is not an argument about a wife who’s a dictator kind of a decision maker or one who decides nothing. It’s either the wife needs to ask a husband for permissions on everything or she can decides for few things. I’d rather have a wife who can decide on small things on her own e.g. how many teaspoons of sugar need to be poured in my cup of coffee or tea et cetera. For sure, any huge decisions should be discussed together.
